At Henty Public School, students explore their talents through HPGE enrichment, sporting, creative and extracurricular opportunities, with achievements celebrated in student led showcases and spectaculars. Our small class sizes ensure every child is known, supported and challenged to reach their full potential in a positive, engaging environment.

Student leadership and responsibility

Every student has the opportunity to lead and take responsibility. By taking on class and school leadership roles, students learn teamwork, initiative and real life skills. We encourage students to have a voice in their learning and contribute meaningfully to our school community.

Lunch and Learn Program

The Henty Public School Lunch and Learn Program gives students hands on experience in healthy eating and food preparation. Each week, students harvest fresh produce from the school garden and use it to create delicious, nutritious meals in the school kitchen. The program encourages practical life skills, teamwork and an understanding of where food comes from, while promoting healthy food choices and sustainability in an engaging, real world learning environment.

SRC FUNDRAISER – Students Dress as Teachers & Teachers Dress as Students

Henty Public School will hold a fun and engaging SRC Fundraiser on Tuesday, 4 August. Students are invited to dress as their favourite teachers while teachers will dress as students for the day. A gold coin donation is requested to support the SRC with all funds going towards student initiatives and school projects. We encourage everyone to participate and enjoy this unique role-reversal event to help raise funds and school spirit.
