Student leadership and responsibility

Leadership is woven into every aspect of school life at Henty Public School. Every student is encouraged to take on class and school leadership roles to build teamwork, initiative and practical life skills. We encourage students to have a voice in their learning and contribute meaningfully to our school community.

Lunch and Learn Program

The Henty Public School Lunch and Learn Program gives students hands on experience in healthy eating and food preparation. Each week, students harvest fresh produce from the school garden and use it to create delicious, nutritious meals in the school kitchen. The program encourages practical life skills, teamwork and an understanding of where food comes from while promoting healthy food choices and sustainability in an engaging, real world learning environment.
